It has become a local legend for anyone craving authentic Southeast European comfort food.Located at 514 Anderson Ave, it’s widely considered one of the best representations of Balkan cuisine in the entire tri-state area

4 months agoMy husband and I dine here at least 2–3 times a month, and it never disappoints. We’ve eaten at Balkan restaurants all over New York, New Jersey, and across the country—and this is, without question, the best of them all. The ćevapi, burek, and embelsira are unmatched. Every dish is consistently perfect. I choose this restaurant every single time. As an Albanian, I can confidently say this is the best Balkan food in the United States. Forever a favorite. Thanks for bringing a taste of home to us!

5 months agoOur first time experiencing Slavic cuisine and while we weren’t disappointed at all, we would have to say the food needed a bit more seasoning for our taste. The small 5pcs Cevapi “Beef Kabobs” were good and the portions were great for the price. Also if you’re thinking about ordering the “Cabbage Salad” please note: It’s just shredded white cabbage with vinegar and nothing else. We did appreciate our server for explaining the menu to us and being attentive. We will certainly be back for more of the Burek too which was also good.

7 months agoThis is amazing! The best Balkan food so far in USA, the taste, portion size are just perfect. Easy to find, lots of parking space outside. Just a perfect place for delicious Balkan meals.

a year agofirst time having balkan food, and it is so good! we ordered multiple dishes and devoured all of them. every dish on the menu looked amazing, i would definitely come back here

a year agoI can just say cevapi was amazing. Almost same taste in Bosnia. I just discovered this place but it will be one of my fav place!! Thank you guys for all this delicious thing!!!
